Theme 2: Impact and cost-effectiveness

Researchers in this theme will work closely alongside those in Theme 1 to generate evidence to improve the epidemiological understanding, assess risk, and inform vaccination guidance and policy. This can be achieved through integration of data relating to microbiology, immunology, spatiotemporal disease distribution, health economics, and social science. The GHRG-GI will build upon a strong track record of applied research and vaccine modelling in Malawi and share expertise and knowledge with Kenya and Ethiopia.
